The Community of Practice brings together people and organizations interested in sustained, high-quality observations in East African mountain environments.
The initial geographic focus is the Mount Kenya area, with an initial thematic focus on climate and atmospheric composition. The scope can grow as the community develops, including additional mountain regions, monitoring themes, shared projects, training activities and future meetings.
The aim is practical collaboration: connecting monitoring activities, exchanging methods and experience, improving access to information, and identifying opportunities for coordinated observations and joint initiatives.
